📋 Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to Cute Budget Calendar (Japanese name: 可愛い家計簿カレンダー), developed and provided by Qualef. The Android package name is com.takuyayamaguchi.calendarapp. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information within this application.

📦 Information We Collect

Cute Budget Calendar stores the following data. The developer does not collect any of it.

• Ledgers (ledger names and the records in each ledger)
• Schedules (title, date/time and memo of events)
• Tasks (task content and completion status)
• Household accounts (income/expense amounts, categories and memos)
• Memos (free text notes)
• Custom entries (e.g., weight records, diary — content you define)
• Sync bookkeeping (such as identifiers and times of deleted items)
• App settings (theme, language, custom item name; kept on each device and not synced)

No Qualef account is required. Apple's sharing screen may require the recipient's Apple Account email address or other contact details. Anything you type into free-text fields is stored, synced and shared as part of that ledger.

🔒 Data Storage

Records are stored in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage). On iPhone, iPad and supported Macs, you can optionally use iCloud sync and sharing for each ledger through Apple's CloudKit.

• A ledger with iCloud sync turned on is stored in the iCloud of your Apple Account and synced across devices signed in to the same Apple Account
• When you share a ledger, its records (events, tasks, income and expenses, memos and custom entries) are stored in the owner's iCloud, and invited participants can view or edit them with the permission the owner chose. Other ledgers are not shared
• Copies that a participant exports or keeps on their device may remain with them after sharing ends
• Ledger records are not sent to or stored on Qualef's own servers. Sharing uses Apple's iCloud. Data is also stored on your device so that you can view and edit your records
• Data in iCloud is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer cannot view the contents of your ledgers
• The Android version has no iCloud sync or sharing; its records are stored on the device only
• No data is shared with third parties (except information required for ad delivery; see "Advertising" section for details)

📊 Advertising

This app uses Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to serve advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect the following information:

• Advertising identifiers (IDFA / Google Advertising ID)
• Device information (OS version, device model, etc.)
• Approximate location (based on IP address)
• Ad impression and click data

This information is collected and processed by Google, not by the app developer. For details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

On iOS, you can decline personalized ads by selecting "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted on first launch.

This app does not use any analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).

🔔 Notifications

The app provides local notification reminders for scheduled events.

• Event reminders are generated and triggered on your device; no external server is used
• Only when you use iCloud sync or sharing on iOS, the app uses Apple's push notification service (silent notifications that are never shown) to receive changes made on other devices. The device token for this is managed by Apple and is never sent to the developer
• Notification content includes only the event title you entered in the app; it is never sent off-device
• You can enable/disable notifications and set notification times at any time from the Settings screen

Notification permission is requested via the standard OS dialog. The core features of the app remain available even if you decline.

💎 In-App Purchases

The iOS version offers the following one-time in-app purchases:

• "Remove Ads": hides the ads in the app
• "Shared Ledgers": lets you start sharing a ledger (invited participants do not need to buy it)
• All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store payment system
• The app does not collect, store, or transmit any payment information, credit card information, or Apple ID
• Ad removal is stored on your device as a true/false flag; the Shared Ledgers purchase is checked against your Apple purchase history
• On a new device, you can restore your purchases from "Purchases & restore". The app does not collect any personal information during restoration

🗑️ Data Deletion

You can delete records one by one. An extra ledger that exists only on your device can be deleted as a whole from ledger management in Settings. Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device.

Deletions in a ledger with iCloud sync are reflected on your other devices and for sharing participants. For your own synced ledger, ledger management in Settings offers "Stop iCloud sync" (remove it from iCloud and keep it on this device) and "Delete ledger" (remove it from iCloud and this device). Copies on your other devices remain there as local-only ledgers. Uninstalling does not delete data in iCloud; you can also manage and delete it in your device's iCloud settings. Participants can leave a shared ledger, and the owner can stop sharing (the owner's records remain as a personal ledger).

👶 Children's Privacy

Cute Budget Calendar is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Please check the "Last updated" date below. Significant changes will also be announced within the app.
